Tufting is a process for making textiles such as rugs and tapestries for hanging on walls. Our Client had a tufting machine invention he had been thinking about for over a decade. He came to Boost Design when it was time to turn his dream into a reality.

  • Simulation of complex electromagnetic designs for the high-speed and novel tufting head.

  • Testing and iteration until a working tufting head assembly was developed.

This project required intensive research and development of complex electro-mechanical precision systems that were also suitable for high-speed operation. The Boost Design Team achieved a successful outcome and demonstrated a working prototype to the Client.
